I have been thinking about what we can do with an area of concrete that is between the fence and the driveway. It is ugly, unproductive and a heat trap. However, it would be a huge amount of work to dig up and then we would have to get rid of it.
So having considered raised beds etc I am now researching herb spirals as we have a huge pile of pavers that we have no need for. I am continually taking pavers up to expand gardens, not putting them down!
I will need to do more research, but think that this idea has merit.
